This blog is the beginning of another exciting opportunity that I will be embarking on in the New Year.  On January 16, 2013 I will be headed to Africa once again!  I am very excited for this new journey that I am preparing for.  I will be going to West Africa, to a little country on the coast, called Senegal.  I will be living in the city of Dakar, with a team of PAOC Global Workers who are ministering there.

Being a third year missions student at Vanguard College means that I must do an overseas internship.  This internship will be 3 months long, and I will be returning to Canada on April 3, 2013.  I am very excited for the variety of ministries that I get to be apart of.  While in Senegal I will be doing the following:

    -    Children’s Bible Clubs
    -    Deaf School
    -    Preschool
    -    Feeding Centre for Street Children
    -    Child Care Plus Administration
    -    Micro Enterprise Projects
    -    Women’s Ministry
    -    Dakar Academy
    -    Village outreach
    -    Short Term Teams
    -    Language Study
    -    Operation Christmas Child Distribution
    -    ESL

I am very excited to begin this journey, and also excited to see what God is going to do in and through me.  I know that God has His hand in every part of this trip, and that He is preparing the hearts of those I will come in contact with.

As I continue to prepare for this internship, I ask that you support me in prayer, and continue to pray for me and the team of missionaries that I will be working with, while on the field.  This blog will include updates of my trip, along with photos, so you are able to see the different things that I am doing throughout my time there.
